New Zwiesel Glas umbrella brand received with great enthusiasm.
Our program at this year’s Ambiente trade fair offered four eventful days for our customers and interested guests. 130,000 visitors were on hand in Frankfurt/Main from February 7-11 to witness what it means to keep a promise – the claim that each of our products sets out to create the extraordinary. Our new ZWIESEL GLAS umbrella brand was the main protagonist. As our newly designed logo explains, it stands for our unique MADE IN ZWIESEL glass with its unmistakable sound that is at home wherever hospitality and conviviality are prized. We consistently communicate this value proposition to our customers all over the world.
Each of our glasses brings together craftsmanship and technical precision to reflect close to 150 years of tradition in glass manufacturing, passion and commitment to our origins in Zwiesel. Toasting with ZWIESEL GLAS always strikes the right tone, at any time, in any place, and in the most diverse cultural situations.
The subtle blue ZWIESEL GLAS packaging with its silver accents harmoniously complements the logo. The box is the ideal format to hand our glasses over to our customers in a perfectly protected package. At Ambiente, it also created a harmonious fit for the design of our stand, which was divided into two areas. The bright, open front area not only told our company's story with the help of a corporate video, but also presented our new logo and machine-made novelties.
Visitors then passed through two large open gateways to reach the inside of our stand, where a bar, tall tables and seating created an inviting environment. This area set the stage for the newly designed brand and our handmade novelties, which were centrally placed on a presentation cube. Together, Shadow, Highness, Aura, Glamorous and Spirit impressively demonstrated the broad range of ZWIESEL GLAS. The SCHOTT ZWIESEL brand also displayed eight new series to demonstrate its capabilities. Wine lovers found their favourite Highness glass, for example in our Vervino series, which has already been recognized with the IF Design Award 2020.
Further recognitions included the DINEUS Award 2020 for our MARLÈNE series and the German Design Award 2020, which went to the SIMPLIFY series by ZWIESEL 1872. While part of the action took place in Hall 4, we also hosted a separate stand in the hotel, restaurant and catering (HoReCa) section in Hall 6 for the first time this year to meet the special requirements of restaurateurs.
