The story of this glass is a story of passion: Two worlds – masterful glassmaking craftsmanship and renowned winemaker expertise – unite to create pleasure for all senses. With great dedication, an all-round glass was designed to optimally highlight the uniqueness of wines – their complexity, multi-layered nature, and mineral freshness. The development process was characterized by numerous tastings by Jochen Dreissigacker. Thus, it has succeeded in capturing the essence of Dreissigacker wines in perfect form. "Whether Burgundy or Riesling – in this glass, each of our wines can perfectly unfold its full expressiveness and unmistakable character," says Jochen Dreissigacker about the result of the cooperation.
Each glass is handcrafted with the utmost care in the manufactory of Zwiesel Glas – one of the largest and best worldwide. The gentle width and flat bottom of the glass provide the wine with sufficient space to breathe and develop. Thanks to its minimalist form, consisting of a gentle shoulder and the tapering chimney, the all-round glass is suitable for different wines and is not just a companion, but an enhancer for both red and white wines alike. Thanks to the characteristic effervescence point, it is also excellently suited for sparkling wines.
